The guide and driver will be waiting in Marrakech to start the journey towards the Valley of Roses. We will make a stop in the Aiut Hkim valley and at the Tichka Pass (2,260 m). We will arrive at Ait Benhaddou, a fortified village composed of various kasbahs (typical North African construction made with traditional materials like adobe) and classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1987. It is the best preserved and most important in Morocco and has been used as a set for many Hollywood films. Its houses, with centuries of history, rise along the slopes of a hill, creating a feeling of stepping back in time, a labyrinth of clay and stone streets, passages… We will stroll until lunch and then head to Ouarzazate and afterwards to the Valley of Roses to spend the night.
We will leave the Valley of Roses heading towards the Erg Chebbi dunes, passing through the beautiful Dades Valley and Todra. After lunch, we will travel to the deep golden dunes of the Merzouga desert. At sunset, enjoy a camel ride through the stunning desert, followed by a sunrise in the dunes. Overnight in a tent.
After a magnificent night in the dunes, we will return to the center of Merzouga for breakfast and then head towards the beautiful Draa Valley. This valley is known for its natural beauty and lush vegetation, featuring date palm trees and fields that stretch along the river and up the nearby mountains. Lunch in Ouarzazate, and then we will continue back to Marrakech.
